1. Cách học phần Listening
Phần thi IELTS Listening bạn chỉ được được nghe một lần duy nhất. Điều này sẽ rất dễ khiến cho bạn dễ bị miss đi một số thông tin ở phía sau.
Chia nhỏ bài nghe và nghe đi nghe lại nhiều lần.
Áp dụng phương pháp Deep Listening: mỗi lần nghe hãy tập trung vào các yếu tố khác nhau. Ví dụ: lần nghe đầu: nắm ý chính của bài; nghe lần 2: chú ý từ ngữ, thì của động từ, pronunciation, stress, intonation của người nói, và cuối cùng là hãy thử nghe các từ như articles (mạo từ) hay prepositions (giới từ),…
Lưu ý: Hiện nay format của phần thì Listening đã có sự thay đổi
Từ “section” đã được đổi thành “part”
Không còn phần đọc chẳng hạn (You will hear a conversation…. First you have some time to look at questions 1 to 4.)
Không còn nhắc số trang
2. Cách học phần Reading
Đối với phần nay, bạn cần phải luyện tập nhiều lần. Sẽ giúp cho bạn có thể ghi nhớ ngữ pháp, từ vựng và một số lỗi sai cơ bản mà bạn thường gặp phải
Các bạn hãy căn thời gian làm bài là 60′ như thi thật, và dò đáp án xem mình làm được bao nhiêu điểm
Bạn cần phải phân bố thời gian làm bài như sau: 10 phút dành cho phần passage , 15 phút cho phần passage 2 và 20 phút cho phần passage 3. 5 phút còn lại hãy dành để kiểm tra toàn bộ bài
Sau khi hoàn thành bài test, hãy check lại đáp án và note lại những điểm cần phải chú ý cũng như từ vựng mới để có thể rút kinh nghiệm cho những lần sau
3. Cách học phần Writing
Khi luyện phần Writing, thay vì bạn làm 4 đề khác nhau, bạn hãy thử viết 1 đề nhưng viết thành 4 lần khác nhau. Và mỗi lần viết như vậy bạn hãy thử nâng cao và phát triển nhiều khía cạnh của bài viết.
Hãy tìm hiểu những tiêu chí châm thi của phần Writing cũng như các phương pháp làm bài để bài viết của mình logic
Sau khi kỹ năng viết bài của bạn đã tốt rồi, thì hãy căn thời gian làm bài như đề thi thật. Dành ra 20′ làm task 1 và 40′ làm task 2.
4. Cách học phần Speaking
Với các dạng đề Speaking bạn hãy:
Soạn ra những list câu hỏi khác nhau
Luyện tập chúng thường xuyên
Thu âm lại bài nói của mình để xem lại trong quá trình nói còn còn gặp phải những lỗi gì và phần phát âm của mình đã ổn hay chưa
Mỗi ngày hãy dành ra ít nhất 20 phút để luyện tập. Hãy luyện tập theo từng chủ đề chuẩn theo cấu trúc đề thi
